Come relax in our quiet country home, part log cabin, built in 1860. You will have your own space with a separate entrance and your own washroom - everything you need for a comfortable getaway! Make a simple meal in the kitchenette. Relax in bed by the fireplace. Read a book, play a board game, or cast a show from your own streaming device in the sitting room.
During the day, you are welcome to walk around the 3-acre property, interact with the animals through the fence, collect eggs from the coop (seasonal), relax on the porch, or sit by the fire under a sky full of stars.
Animal Fun
For those of you who love animals, book a complimentary “Farm Visit” with our alpacas, miniature goats & Kune Kune pigs. Occasionally, you may see people on our property who have purchased this package separately.
As much as we love animals, we ask you to please leave yours at home :) and we also request no smoking on our property.
Country living means there may be roosters crowing, coyotes howling, or a wee schnauzer barking - all part of the experience.
Location
Just fifteen minutes from downtown Peterborough and ten minutes to the village of Lakefield, you're close to numerous attractions, including the Peterborough Liftlock, Canadian Canoe Museum, Reptile Zoo, Riverview Park & Zoo, Lang Pioneer Village, Trent University and so much more! There are also many places you canoe, kayak, hike or bike.
